KHUSTAI NATIONAL PARK (2 days)

Hustain Nuruu National Park, 90 000 hectare reserved area set about 100 kms west of Ulaanbaatar, is home to herds of Takhi or Przewalski horses, the world's only naturally surviving wild horses, recently re-introduced to the region. This wild horse sanctuary offers an unexpected encounter with the true wild horses and other wild animals such as boars, deer, fox as well as wolves.

Leave Ulaanbaatar for Hustain Nuruu N/P
10.30 am
Arrive at the National Park, Visit to the Takhi Information Center. And travel further to find the wild horses.
12.30 pm
Picnic Lunch
1.30 pm
Trekking in the Ar Moilt Valley. Tented camping.

Day 2
Exploring and wildlife watching in the morning

Visit to local nomads

Drive back to the Information Center

Short Tour:	TERELJ NATIONAL PARK (2 days)

This famous National Park with beautiful natural settings is an hour's drive by car or bus from Ulaanbaatar city. It is an ideal place for trekking and horseback trips along the Tuul or Terelj River valleys and visit a local family.

Leave Ulaanbaatar for Terelj National Park
10.30 am
Arrive at the tourist ger camp.
11.00 am
Visit to Turtle Rock, a huge rock boulder with the shape of a turtle
12.30 pm
Lunch at the camp
01.30 pm
Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in ger camp.

Day 2
9.30 am
Horse trek to Princes Temple ruins in the morning. Visit the local nomads enroute.

Picnic Lunch
2.30 pm
Arrival at the camp. Afternoon at leisure. Optional hiking.
