Day 1. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar and hotel transfer. Tour briefing. Day 2. City tour. It takes you to the best sights of the capital. Day 3. Drive north to a beautiful Buddhist monastery. Overnight in a ger camp. Day 4. Visit the Amarbayasgalant monastery, which means "Peaceful Joy". Hiking around. Day 5. Drive to northwest via Erdenet, copper mining city. Camp near Bulgan town. Day 6. Continue driving towards north. Camp near Selenge river. Day 7. Arrival in Huvsghel National Park. Visit local museum. Day 8. Visit reindeer people, the smallest ethnic group. Mountain trek in the afternoon. Attend an evening concert that includes Shamanist dancing. Day 9. Drive south towards Central Mongolia. Visit ancient deer stones and burial mounds. Day 10. Driving through Hangai Mountains will bring us to a volcano crater and White Lake. Day 11. Full day rest on Great White Lake. Horse riding, fishing and hiking to the Horgo crater. Day 12. Drive to the site of ancient capital Karakorum. See the sacred Taikhar rock and visit local museum on the way. Overnight in Haluun-Us health spa. Day 13. Arrive in Karakorum and visit the first Buddhist monastery Erdene Zuu. Day 14. Drive to south towards famous Gobi. Visit Shankh Temple and the Orkhon waterfall. Day 15. Driving through flat steppe will bring us to the edge of Gobi. Visit Ongiin ruins. Day 16. Arrive in Gobi region. See some wild animals. Now we shall look for dinosaur fossils. Day 17. Trip to Bayanzag, dinosaur graveyard and Singing Sand, area of giant sand dunes. Day 18. Explore in sandy ocean. Riding on 2 humped backtrain camels. Day 19. Excursion to Vulture canyon. See wild goats and thick ice in the middle of Gobi area. Day 20. Flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Shopping or private arrangements. Day 21. Departure from Mongolia.
