SUGGESTED DAILY ITINERARY:
Day 1. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar and hotel transfer. Tour briefing.
Day 2. City tour. It takes you to the best sights of the capital.
Day 3. Drive west towards Karakorum, the site of the ancient capital of Mongol Empire. See the wild horses. Overnight in a ger camp.
Day 4. Arrive in Karakorum and visit the first Buddhist monastery Erdene Zuu.
Day 5. Drive to north towards the Horgo National Park. Visit local museum and sacred Taikhar rock.
Day 6. Full day rest on Great White Lake. Horse riding, fishing and walking to the volcano crater.
Day 7. Driving through Hangai Mountains will bring us to the river Ider.
Day 8. Arrive in Huvsgel National Park. Visit local museum.
Day 9. Visit reindeer people, the smallest ethnic group and mountain trek in the afternoon. Attend an evening concert that includes Shamanist dancing.
Day 10. Visit ancient deer stones. Flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Shopping or private arrangements.
Day 11. Departure from Mongolia or start of a next trip.
