ULAANBAATAR CITY TOUR

. This sample itinerary includes visits to famous Sukhbaatar Square, National History Museum, Gandan Monastery, Bogd Khaan Palace Museum and Zaisan Memorial. The itinerary can be altered including visits to other museums. 9.00 am
Leave the hotel and drive to Sukhbaatar square.
9.40 am
Explore the area and listen to the guide's speech about the historical significance of Sukhbaatar Damdiny and his monument.
10.30 am
Visit to the National History or the Ethnographic Museum.
12.00 am
Drive to Gandan Monastery and listen to the guide's speech about religious believes in Mongolia.
12.10 am
Visit to the monastery, explore the temples, attend the morning Buddhist service and visit the famous 26-meter high Megjid Janraisig statue.
12.50 am
Leave Gandan monastery
1.10 pm
Lunch at nice local restaurant
2.10 pm
Drive to Bogd Khaan Winter Palace Museum
2.30 pm
Visit to the museum and explore the rich collection of religious relics and personal stuff of Bogd Khaan, Mongolia's last king and religious ruler.
4.00 pm
Drive to Zaisan Hill, in the foothills of Bogd Khaan mountain that provides the best view of the whole city and attend guide's speech on Ulaanbaatar city.
5.30 pm
Leave Zaisan hill and return to the hotel.
