Why can't we have only a driver?

Maybe you need someone who communicates you to the nomads, park rangers and local governors. And actually nobody speaks in English out of Ulaanbaatar city. Driver could take you to the different places, but he cannot explain you the sites, its stories and hardly solve the problems along the trip because of the language barrier.

Why can't we have only a guide who can drive?

Because of Mongolian incredibly difficult road condition, you probably need a professional and good driver. It's quite dangerous, if you get a new or an young driver who has not been driving on terrible roads in countryside. • BACK
