Booking a trip with Mongolia Trekking:
With your first contact your trip will be pre-booked. When a deposit of US$500 or more is sent or transferred with a booking form, you'll be placed in the scheduled group. The balance of the trip cost should be transferred or sent at least 5 weeks due to start of the trip. If you book less than 5 weeks before the starting date, only full payment is acceptable. If the balance of the trip is not paid in time, Mongolia Trekking reserves the right to cancel your holiday and apply the cancellation fees. Our trips have been costed on a minimum group size of 4-6 travellers. If the group minimum is not reached, a 15-20% surcharge of land cost will be added to cover extra costs of the smaller group.
Cancellation Policy
If you decide to cancel your holiday, the following fees will apply. The amount of the fee ranges depending on when we receive your e-mail or letter of cancellation. If we receive the cancellation letter or e-mail;
6 weeks or earlier prior to start - no charge (less wire transfer fees, only)
5 weeks prior to start - 100 US$
4 weeks prior to start - 30 % of land cost
3 weeks prior to start - 60 % of land cost
2 weeks or later prior to start - 100 % of land cost
. Mongolia Trekking reserves the right to cancel a trip and refund without fees in any circumstances but not less than 3 weeks before the start of the trip. Mongolia Trekking is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by the client in preparation of the cancelled trip (e.g., non-refundable air tickets, visa fees, gear or medical expenses etc...)
What Our Price Includes and Excludes?

The Trip Price includes:
- All internal flights,
- Transport within Mongolia
- Twin occupancy accommodation in tourism standard hotel (1 to 5-star),
spacer( single accommodation can be arranged at an additional cost)
- Ger camp accommodation in the countryside where specified
- All camping facilities sharing two person tents while outpacking on trek
- Full trek service including guides, cooks, drivers, local supporting staff and including cost of equipment.
- Three meals a day and plus afternoon tea whilst on trek
- All sightseeing costs and entrance fees
- Camel or horse hire where specified
- Basic medical kit
The Trip Price does not include:
- International airfares
- Cost of visa and Travel Insurance
- Airport tax (if any) and Extra baggage charge (i.e. excess of 15 kgs in local planes)
- Alcoholic drinks and Hotel refreshments such as laundry, telephone calls etc...
- Camera or Video recorder fees
- Commercial Bank Fees for Deposit Money Transfers
- Gratuities and Farewell Dinner
- Other items of personal nature
Please note:
An additional ‘single supplement’ price is given on your request, which refers to single room accommodation in hotels only. It does not refer to single accommodation in tents or ger-camps, although we endeavor to place single clients in their own tent or ger whenever possible. TOPBACK
